STRIKEPING EXPLAINED

Early crypto alerts vs timed updates

An early alert gives more time to consider a window. A timed update gives a later view with less time left. Their results need to be assessed separately.

What is the difference?

A StrikePing early alert is considered one minute after a 15-minute window opens, with about 14 minutes left. It is sent only when estimated confidence reaches 70%. Timed updates are considered five and ten minutes after opening, leaving ten and five minutes respectively. You can follow either type or both.

Why can a later alert look more accurate?

As a window approaches its end, there is less time for the price to cross the starting reference. A simple rule that reports whether the coin is currently above or below that reference can therefore become more accurate without predicting the next price move. A later alert's hit rate should be compared with a baseline at the same decision time, not with a first-minute forecast.

For selective early alerts, compare the same selected windows as well. Selecting large moves or high-confidence calls changes the group being graded. Results from all windows and selected windows answer different questions.

Can an update reverse an early alert?

Yes. In an illustrative window from 16:30 to 16:45 UTC, an early call at 16:31 could say UP, while a fresh update at 16:40 could say DOWN after the price crosses the reference. The earlier call stays in its own record; it is not rewritten. An update is a new estimate, not an instruction to buy, sell or reverse a trade.

Which notifications should I choose?

Choose early alerts if you mainly want a selective prompt with more time remaining. Choose updates if you already follow a window and want to see how the estimate changes. Both are included in the planned membership. You can choose the update times, coins, confidence floor and quiet hours; frequent updates do not need to fill your email inbox.

The sample feed shows illustrative cards. They are not live calls and do not count toward results. Read how the service works for delivery and availability, and accuracy versus profit before interpreting a hit rate.
